We ventured down to Pompeii to visit the ruins which is something I’ve always wanted to tick off the bucket list.
The ruins were vast and it was amazing to walk through the streets of the ancient city. We stumbled across street signs, kitchens, and even bathrooms!
There are also constant renovations and excavations to maintain the ruins.
The bath house was incredible to walk through as well!
The exhibition on the grounds of the ruins displayed the remains of some of the victims of the volcano.
In hindsight, I probably would have purchased the audio tour so I could gain more information as the signage was really poor.
Despite that, it was an amazing experience to be able to be in Pompeii and walk around the ancient city. I highly recommend a visit!
