Marie Antoinette in Prato | Italy

Prato – a beautiful little town just 30 minutes from Florence is a fascinating little town to visit. Historically, Prato has had a very strong textile industry and still today many of the textiles created come from Prato.

The Prato Textile Museum held a beautiful exhibition presenting the dresses worn by Kirsten Dunst in the movie Marie Antoinette. It was fascinating to see the pieces up close and how intricate the designs were.

I was so lucky to be in Prato during this fabulous exhibition!

  1. The costumes are stunning. The research and the time that must have involved to make these gorgeous gowns!

I haven’t yet seen this film, but I want to now based on the images you posted.
