Sorrento was my base for my Amalfi Coast trip. It is one of the more affordable towns on the Coast to stay and it was absolutely beautiful.

We were staying just a short walk from the fishing village, Marina Grande. It is a lovely place to have a walk along the water and some lunch.

Sorrento was full of little alleys with shops all along. There was also a great lookout point – Villa Comunale – where you could watch the sunset on the water.

If you are looking for a more affordable destination for your Amalfi Coast trip, I would recommend checking out Sorrento. It is bustling with tourists but still has authentic Italian restaurants and shops. They are also very well known for limoncello in Sorrento so definitely give that a try too!
